35 But someone will ask, “Ho...The Resurrection Body
35 But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?” 36 How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. 37 When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. 38 But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body. 39 Not all flesh is the same: People have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another. 40 There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another. 41 The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.
Amazing! no matter how many times i read the holy bible i am always learning something new or re evaluating my previous thoughts. Peace be with you. You are now at peace with God, made a new creation, brought into right relationship with God through Christ because just as true as it that Jesus died as a sacrifice for everyone's sin once and for all, He also raised from the dead therefore conquering death and making it possible for His true children who have been born again to live victorious and have the assurance of His promises- one of which is that death no longer has a hold on us. We who die while in Christ, clothed in His righteousness by His grace and forgiveness, will one day be given a resurrected body just like Christ was given a resurrected body when He conquered death. No one can enter the kingdom of Heaven until Judgement Day, and those who have already died will be judged first. Kinda a first dead, first serve basis. When the dead rise, it isn't talking about flesh. It's talking about the spirit. People like to take the Bible out of its context.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02250154636741575970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7559670241576633852.post-15707054650849712962012-07-18T17:29:30.915-07:002012-07-18T17:29:30.915-07:00This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever he...This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. Although our dead will rise, it will not be in the sense of rotting corpses who wreak havoc by eating others. Rather the dead will rise to full mental and physical capacity without eating flesh. We see in the case where Jesus resurrects Lazarus that Lazarus is in full mental capacity without eating anyone, and not having so much as a rotted body smell.Pazamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02102599944149369627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7559670241576633852.post-56190074739336696152012-07-09T17:31:46.913-07:002012-07-09T17:31:46.913-07:00Have you never heard the term "in black &...Have you never heard the term "in black & white"?
